About Us

Founded by breast cancer survivors 11 years ago, Power in Pink-Iron County is a local 501c3 nonprofit that raises funds for those battling breast cancer. The nonprofit fundraises primarily off of event-based fundraisers in the month of October to coincide with Breast Cancer Awareness Month. All proceeds are donated back into the community. Power in Pink does not pay dues to any other cancer affiliation.

Power in Pink’s mission is to raise awareness and funds locally for local breast cancer survivors to support them and their families in the battle against breast cancer. In addition, Power in Pink honors local women who have passed away from breast cancer and raises awareness for early detection, mammograms and breast cancer education and awareness.
